If you have a gigabyte motherboard don't use bio's F9

I've been using the f9 bios with no problem. I've been fortunate though, I've never had trouble with any bios updates on any of my boards. Closest thing was an evga 680i bios which lowered my overclock max by 200mhz.

no i don't but now it is working scared to overclock it now. maybe I will rma it and this board. My overcloking days may come to a end this has pissed me off.

hmm scared to OC? so your stock now? if its fine then....without the OC then possibly your NB is going because it cant take the FSB maybe its dying or weak because of heat or voltage...and seeing the other things the NB controlls and the widespread failure you had but its fine at stock theirs a pretty good possability your NB is on its last legs try seeing if you can cool it better or somthing.

no the clocks in my signature are correct now, my ethernet does not work and two ram sticks are doa but it oc fine and everything else functions correctly. It was f9 bios and my ram causing issuses. My lan appears doa gigabyte wants to RMA but that takes 3 weeks with no computer, just bought a ethernet adapter for 7.00

Now my sound card won't identify my front and rear channel as seperate channels no matter what I set them at they both end up as set to front speakers and sound only comes out one set. this is crazy to pay this much money and now have my own sound card and ethernet adapters installed in PCI slots because the onboard ones are malfunctioning. Whats also crazy is when I called gigabyte they said my bios chip needs replaced because in my bios a whole line referring to my Lan is missing. It is my bios chip thats the problem it is confused and cannot locate my Ethernet. It is acting like it is not there. So I have to find a good time to RMA (3weeks wait on a new board) so I have decided to order a new motherboard. Then sell the RMAed board when it comes. The following boards i'm considering
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813127030 I also really really like this board aswell.
http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813136039 another big ass northbridge cooler

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813128080

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16813136038 I really like this board got great reviews but the giant northbridge cooler won't let my ultama clear it unless the fan blows upward. plus no mosfit coolers.

After the first of the years may be the time.
