So I recently switched over to a full custom water loop, and since I'm using the EK Supremacy block, I thought it would be a shame to not de-lid my 3770k and run their Precise-Mount kit for Naked Ivy's.
Everything went about as smooth as it could, but my temps dont feel right.
Core 1 seems to be where I should be at, sitting around 23c under idle (@ 4.6Ghz 1.29v)
Core 2 (24C) and Core 3(25-26C) run a little hotter
Core 4 however is a hot tamale, sitting at 33-34c under idle conditions. At load this core can hit 75C!
Core 1 never goes above 53c under load, and core 2+3 stay around 65c under load.
I guess my question is how can I get the rest of the cores down to the same temp as Core 1, most people report ~20c drop in temps when running a similar setup, and my Core 1 shows that can happen.
(Testing done with PK-1 paste)
I should also mention that I did a mount test, and the paste did cover the die in a thin layer and seems to be making good contact.
