How often you guys play?

I think it's been 2 weeks since I last played. Mostly cause I only got 1 other person I play with on what I do play.

I've played Battlefield since the original 1942 version and BF1 has to be the most aggravating version to date. So many cheaters and hackers which just ruins the game. I actually regret buying it more than Battlefront, which I guess say something... Every other time I play the game I get so frustrated that there's weeks between each time I play. It's simply not a fun game to play.

I disagree with everything here. There are less cheaters here than in the last few iterations of Battlefield. I think the way the kill cam is showing your killer and how OP vehicles in the right hands can be has created a bad perception of the game. The core gun play is great, balance needs some work as usual, there are issues with nade spam, but it is overall the best of the bunch so far. BF 2142 is still my favorite, but BF1 is definitely in the top 3 now.

Just played 2 hours of awfulness. BF4 never had so much of a hateful effect on me, Nor BF3 or BF2 BC.

Snipers at 17 miles. WW1 planes made of shell resistant paper. I mean c'mon DICE, AA guns tear through planes on direct hits (plane flying in at a cap - you mount AA gun and shoot it in the face - plane comes at you relentless and bombs you to death flys off and repairs.... yay.. go reality. Cavalry - do DICE know how many horses died in WW1?

Sometimes it feels like it's played by COD people that just found out instead of run'n'gun, you can snipe in a field instead. And then there's the zombie respawn on your dead colleague. Just cleared that trench? Time to reload? Think again - zombie respawn's gonna get you. The mark of a bad game is one which is only enjoyable playing with friends. I won't play without my buddies.

Kinda true what you say, bf1 is a pain at times, but then again what do you expect from a game about world war I. Does it have to be a pleasure killing ppl and stuff? I guess not. Not going to switch this into a political debate but it was worth mentioning the irony of your post. Maybe I should've sticked with my original plan to avoid games like these in the future, too bad friends talked me in.

Haven't played it yet but watched a lot of trailers and it looks good and more realistic than COD IWF

If there are enough TPU players, would it be wise to have a password protected server just for non-cheating TPU players?

Or is server rental for BF1 stupid expensive?

Besides is there any thread on TPU that allows forum members to share game IDs from various platforms that allow interplay?

Because it's a discussion thread about BF1. Plain and simple. Where is the rule written that all discussions have to be like you want them or totally positive? You're going into censoring territory here, just because we talk bad about your favourite game. Simply don't read it then or don't react to it.

I enjoy BF1 very much! I like the setting and like all the countries it makes me play, not like modern wars... Like all games, confronted with guys that are too good (legal or ilegal doesn't matter for me) you end up a bit angry and only think of revenge but that makes you play harder and better

Regarding ferociuos French, maybe because they were given tons and tonnels of wine!!!

Anyway as I was telling Dave Ill be out for a while. My hands (Both!) have developed trigger fingers. After a day of working I cant even open my hands without pain so I wont be gaming for a while. I need to let em rest when I get off work. If they don't heal up soon Ill be taking cortisone shots and I'm doing my best to avoid it.

I mention nothing about rules, I am said nothing that would imply censorship, and literally just said this was not my favorite Battlefield let alone game 3 posts ago. I was also mostly talking about TheLostSwede's comment where he actually says I don't enjoy this game. I said all because I am 37 pages late and wanted to cover my bases, so I will re-phase.

I don't hate the game itself, I hate all the hackers and cheaters. Maybe it's just worse in Asia than in North America and Europe, but it really is a load of BS here and it's making the game suck.

I'll play it a few times more, ofc because I payed for it. But so far I don't see the game as overly entertaining, other BFs like BC2 were a lot better imo. BF4 was like a overblown BF3 and kinda more realistic graphics (which I didnt really like) but not really better than BF3, I liked BC2 the most, ahead of BF3 and 1942. I played a lot of copter in BF4, at least that was a lot of fun, I think more than anything BF1 has to offer, it's overly annoying at times too. Strange horses and gas grenades. Im not big into war games anymore anyway, kinda primitive form of entertainment, killing and destroying stuff for hours for "fun". Strange humanity and the stupid things they do.

Been playing with the update, maps, and features.

Honestly, the best thing are the new guns as its giving the game some more variety. Unlocked a few so far and the Chauchat LMG is a personal favorite of mine.
