Battlefield 2 Mercenaries Crashes

does anyone else have problems with the mercenaries mod crashing all the time? i have other mods for BF2 and they run fine. but only one map for mercenaries works fine for me. it seems that any level with helicopters in it wants to crash. sometimes it takes a half hour or so but some times it is only like a min or two. any ideas? it is an awesome mod, the best i have played, just wish i could play it longer. oh yeah, im talkin about playin off line. cause i never see servers online for it.

I stopped playing it because they weren't keeping up with patches. Is the version that you are using designed for the latest patch. Are other people having the same issue and have you looked if there is a fix out for it? You need to check the makers website ( http://www.mercenaries.dies-world.com/ ) if you haven't already. I'm not sure if they still support this mod but there are forums there where you can find things out

If you have the latest version and it's supposed to work then try reinstalling it. If the problem is still there reinstall the latest patch again. If it still doesn't work then you my be out of luck until or if they come out with a fix.

yeah that is what i was thinking. i have the latest patch/mod so im not sure what the problem is. i will try looking in the forum on thier site. i just figured i would start here, since almost everything i have asked has been answered. thanks...
