Oh, defibbing is good again in BF4, you definitely have to give it a go. You just fully charge your paddles, walk up behind a clueless camping sniper and ZAP!!!! Insta-kill. No more having to hold the paddles on them forever like BF3, it's a one touch kill. Super satisfying. Pay attention, though, you can't run with the paddles charging, just a slow walk.

I too thought BF4 was "too soon" but the gameplay and additions won me over. Yes BF3 should have been more "like this". Especially all the new PTFO points. My SPM is over 200 points higher in this game.

As for BF4 my 670 out benches my 7950 as it should but seems the game runs a bit better on AMD. Guess thats not a huge surprise.

Update: I have most of my best rounds on Dawnbreaker if I don't take an elevator. I own B !

Then you get rid of anything that may be glitching it. Your hardware should handle it fine.

I'm gonna do a fresh install in a few days. A few days ago there was a 100mb patch and since then its been crashing. Even commander mode crashed and that doesn't even stress anything. Before then rarely crashed.

Dec 16 PC Game Update Notes
-Fix for a crash that would cause the game to stall, resulting in a sound loop. This should eliminate most of the problems relating to this.
-Fix for the SUAV (introduced in the China Rising expansion pack) not exploding when hitting enemy soldiers. While these indeed should be deadly, they were never designed for “roadkilling” opponents.
-Fixed one of the issues related to the so-called “Netcode” (see below for details).
-Fix for an issue where 4x the damage from a vehicle's minigun would be applied to the chest when a player had the Defense specialization equipped.
-Fix for player tags not always showing when needed to, resulting in players shooting team members.
-Fix for graphical flickering appearing on terrain.
-Fixed the instance where players suddenly would transition into Spectator Mode while playing the Defuse game mode.
-Fix for a Defuse bug where none of the teams would win a round by letting the timer run out.
-Fix for players getting stuck in the revive screen after being killed.
-Fix for players getting stuck in the kill camera after being revived.
-Fix for the game mode specific ribbons being counted twice in the multiplayer progression.
-Made NVidia 331.82 or later driver versions mandatory for all players.
-Disabled DirectX 11.1 on NVidia cards that have outdated drivers.
-Fixed driver version not being properly detected on NVidia Optimus systems.
-Fixed a minor crash that could occur when bringing up the scoreboard.

“Netcode” improvement
We’ve addressed the so-called “Kill trading”. This refers to when two players fire at each other and, seemingly, both die at the same time. The time window where a bullet could cause damage from an already dead player is now calculated as intended, decreasing the timeframe when players with high latency could get a kill, even though they should be dead according to the server.

It really makes you wonder if they test patches first before releasing it to the public. DICE is already in deep doo doo about the state of the game when it was launched - something they are still trying to fix. Flickering & completely flat textures means that i wont even attempt to play the game, the stupidest thing out of all this is that the game was working more or less ok before this new update, I wouldnt say it was bug free but at least there wasnt any texture flickering.

I payed hundreds for my SLi setup and i cant even use it?? But yeah - I guess there are a lot of you out there that are just gonna say 'boofuckinghoo' and to get over it. but its alright for you if running a single GPU set up. I didnt buy 2 680s to admire one and run the other solo.

I've bought two cards a few times in the past... Then sold one to use one solo. It's for the best.

Might as well disable one for now.
