All of you leave Haru alone! He introduced me to the SUAV yesterday and I road killed like 6 people in a match. I have a new passion. Its not BF4 anymore. Its Paper Plane Assassin 4!

Check the scatter plots on Symthic on any gun, they all show muzzle brake and angle grip is superior to every other setup.

Muzzle climb may be easier to control then the side to side recoil, but when you're shooting at someone, they're usually moving side to side and thus negate any disadvantage the compensator has. The only thing that becomes important in a firefight like this is being able to control the climb of the gun. With the brake, this is done much easier.

Just try it for a week and I think you'll agree with me. I too could not believe this as I thought the same as you, but after giving it a try, I find my accuracy is much better and I win a lot more gun fights. Mostly because I can concentrate on the side to side movement of the player and not have to think too much about controlling the vertical climb of any gun.

I have to disagree. It completely matters on what weapon you run. If you are running a gun with a high rate of fire, thats meant for CQ, I usually run a grip that gives me better hip firing. And I disagree on the Compensator as well. Horizontal recoil goes both Left and Right, where as the running guy you are shooting at is running either Left or Right, not both. So firing a horizontal line of bullets at him isn't all that effective either. Infact it would be better to run the Compensator by that logic, because a person is taller than they are wide, so narrowing that horizontal spread and making it vertical you have a larger area to possibly hit.

I been using the Famas a lot lately, and it has the highest rate of fire teamed with some wicked recoil. I find it much more controllable while using a grip that helps hipfire and a compensator vs angled grip and muzzle break. And looking at Symthic the setup I run has more benefits as well. It's recoil is overall about the same as the angled/muzzle my setup has less horizontal recoil and yours has less vertical. My setup has better hip firing and better ADS while moving. Where as yours has a lower 1st shot recoil. I feel the mobility of the better ADS while moving, better hipfire, and more of a vertical spread is just a better setup.

Now for a slower firing weapon that I would use at a distance beyond 20 - 30m I would probably run what you suggested. But most of those weapons don't have huge side to side recoil, so they don't require a compensator anyways, so a muzzle brake is almost a given.

Compensator only makes sense after certain amount of total horizontal recoil. One guy at Symthic said I think 0,6 or something like that. You can compensate for vertical recoil (theoretically, mind you, but it's very possible with practice), but you can't do anything about horizontal, which directly affect your accuracy.

I like to run and gun with that brick, so I slapped stubby grip and compensator on it. Belt fed LMGs are ridiculously OP compared to BF3.
Really curious about M60. Give us 2nd Assault already!

I'm doubting it is 0.6, since no weapon in the game has that kind of recoil to both sides. Only the absolute worse have it to one direction only. And exactly, can compensate for vertical, the weapons with high horizontal recoil usually don't have high vertical recoil (PKP and M240B as exceptions), so running a Compensator on those high ROF weapons makes sense, since dropping their moderate vert recoil just seems silly.

Not that thats a horrible combination, just if I was looking for an LMG accurate at range I would go with the QBB instead and relegate the M249 or MG4 to more of a Medium range engagement weapon with a Compensator and a Angled grip. That way I knock off some side to side recoil while removing that 1st shot recoil (since thats the hardest recoil to correct for, after the 1st shot its much easier). And then just make sure to ADS and rip people down. Though different strokes for different folks, I also love the PKP for range, I run Muzzle Brake and Angled on that since she has some kick and just 1,2, or 3 round burst it and with it's high damage it just tears people apart and doesn't get too far off track as long as you let off the trigger.

I really haven't been a fan of the HBar in BF4. In BF3 I ran it on almost every weapon, but now it doesn't increase your Damage Drop Off Range. Though it now doesn't have a Hip Fire Penalty either. I'd rather have a longer damage drop off and that hip fire penalty back. The increased recoil just for some better ADS pin pointing isn't worth it to me. I'd rather have a more controlable weapon, then I'll put the sights on them and let it rip, sure the bullet might not go into the chest I'm aiming at, it might be right arm or left arm, thats fine by me.

Anyone else having issues after the update yesterday where your screen goes black, then to windowed mode, and stays black, and the only way to fix it is the alt tab out and select your BF4 session in the Windows toolbar? Ever since the update its been doing that like every 5 minutes.

That has always happened to me, even before the patch although only about every 4-6 matches. It would take a few matches for it to start happening.

Ah, didn't see the word total in there. Yeah then a lot of guns that benefit from it, which makes perfect sense to me. And I'm actually loving the Famas, could not stand it in BF3, but for some reason it feels much better now. The only thing that gets me is the insanely long reload times.

Dunno if it was hacking/ers or not, but i unloaded a full 100 round belt into 2 players and then got single shotted, They was about 10-20 feet away in a corridor.

NO I can take an ass whoopin. If your ever on TS you know I don't throw out "Hackusations" a lot. But when I see someone with 60-2 on Zavod 311 and he's watching players through walls (I see it on kill cam) I begin to wonder.

I'm not a 1337 player by any means. You never hear me talk about pointless gun stats or anything else. I just play for the mayhem. However you can ask any regular TS member I always finish in the top 5 on the server. Lately its been 20th. Its not the norm. It just makes me wonder if there is a new round of hacks. Crazyeyes said he read something about it on facebook but ya never know.
