Har Har Har!

Well, I just sodomized myself with Premium and I feel all revolted and guilty. But, hey, I'll be hanging off the early release titty like all the cool kids tomorrow.

Get a USB footswitch - they can be programmed for push-to-talk. You can usually pick up some cheap chinese made ones off Amazon.

It's not a bad idea, but I almost exclusively use Skype anyways. But if I end up getting into an MMO again I might do that. Only issue with that though is I almost always sit with my legs crossed off the ground in my comp chair since I have no keyboard slide out or other place to put it (Also I just find it more comfortable). So I'm not sure a pedal would help me too much.

That's a damn good idea. I still can't figure out why they moved the dimmer switch off of the floorboard of cars and trucks. It's a royal pain in the ass having it on the turn signal handle.

Because of salt and water in winter. I remember that switch on my dads old F-150, if you touched it (and I mean just glanced it) the headlights just went out, no brights or dims, just nothing. And you couldn't just push it down then back up, because it was completely locked up from corrosion over the years. So it was just kind dumb luck tapping it more with a screw driver or a hammer and hoping they would pop back on.

then you get creative...

Gaffer tape it to one of the arm rests on your chair and lean on it when you want to chat, I suggest using the left arm rest as putting on the right side might throw off mouse control a little

All options. I also have thumb hotkeys on my keyboard (it's what I usually bind TS too), but I always seem to not find the ability to hit it in combat even though my thumb is most likely free of the spacebar. Like I said though, if I get back into an MMO where TS or Vent is almost a requirement (because the amount of people involved in a raid), then I might have to look into it farther, but for now I enjoy Skypes higher quality and I mostly just sit in calls with some friends (squad for BF4 or premade for LoL).

Yeah, but new switches were cheap as beans and even someone who hates turning wrenches as much as I do could replace it in about 45 seconds. Two screws and done. Used to have to replace them every couple of years.

It took BF3 quite awhile to give a break on Premium too if I remember correctly. I ended up buying the first DLC then
breaking down and getting premium. I decided I wasn't playing that shit this time. Which worked out best because
of Amazon's billing screw up I got it for free and 23 dollars added to my checking account even after the bank waved
the overdraft fee because of their stupid shit. So I got Premium and a 23 dollar tip :)

He he, Just finished the Campaign ? What did you think ? I sat down on level 3 and played it thru one night.I kind of liked it. I have decided the P90 don't
mean shit to me any way. If I want to use a PDW I'll go with the MP7. Not to fond of that class of weapon's any who.

Well I didn't hate it except for the bugs and reset progress. It was fairly action-packed if a bit contrived and predictable. Good way to try out various weapons...

That was why I just played it through. I didn't want to worry about that. After having to start whole levels
over after the first couple levels because I bailed early I figured screw it I'll sit down and finish the damn thing.
It was very predictable, but they all are, just like movies.

I am still trying to finish the campaign on hard, I should've selected easy to get the unlocks faster. I hate having cross-hairs and the NPC can't shoot very well so I tire of the campaign and rarely play it.

EDIT- I figure it's not released yet in UK.

Not saying I disagree, I do all my own mechanic work. But just saying why they aren't there anymore. Yes the plastic switches go to crap to, but it's just from use. People got irritated with the floor one

No the P90 did not feel good at all in Campaign or anything like it's BF3 counterpart. Mainly the recoil though it also felt/sounded like it fired slower than it is rated (that and the huge clip being the big strengths of that weapon). However it did occur to me that perhaps that is because in the Campaign it has heavy barrel plus a tri beam laser only? Kurgan have you tried with other accessories yet?

I just unlocked a FLIR sight for the SAR yesterday and decided to try this gun out. It doesn't unload ammo very fast, but holy cow is it accurate. There's barely any kickback to it. Not sure if it was like this before since I previously didn't give that gun a second thought.

It feels just as bad in MP. I've got a scope for it and a few other things from Battlepacks. I don't have a full loadout for it that I normally run, but even getting to that point it just felt painful. The only upside to it is the absurdly large clip. It was nice sometimes when I was just wildly inaccurate, because I didn't have to care, just hold it down till someone gets hit and dies. Where as with the MP7 (the weapon I would always take over the P90) you have to be a bit conscience with ammo.

I just unlocked a FLIR sight for the SAR yesterday and decided to try this gun out. It doesn't unload ammo very fast, but holy cow is it accurate. There's barely any kickback to it. Not sure if it was like this before since I previously didn't give that gun a second thought.

It was like that before, it's a low ROF gun. Downside to it is it's pretty crappy for CQ because of that, but thats why you wouldn't use it for CQ.

Free pistol unlocks (if you don't already have Premium). Not sure why but it works.

Does Premium get this stuff free? I ask because I have Premium and haven't seen any mention of these packs, I just grabbed that one myself.
