I played again today after reenabling HPET because I was getting weird chop with another application. Yo-Yo all over the place. Never had it this bad since I started playing again mid-March. I still have HPET on and I rebooted so I'll try it again, then if it does it, turn off HPET and see if it stops.

Nah makes no difference, rubberbanding stopped with the reboot. Must just be CRAZY netchode issues.

Played a few rounds of Naval Strike the other day, and was pleasantly surprised. I really enjoyed the maps, I think I'll be playing on them a lot more often. First round I managed to get quite a few road kills in a Hovercraft, I think thats probably the funnest vehicle I've driven to roadkill with.

I'm trying to make a batch file that starts pnkbstra only when I run the game so it doesn't start with Windows. I'd like it to only run as needed. I can't get this to work, here is the text:

NET START "PnkBstrA"
START /d "F:\Origin Games\Battlefield 4\" bf4.exe
START /d "C:\Program Files (x86)\Mozilla Firefox\" start firefox.exe http://battlelog.battlefield.com/bf4/
exit;

PnkBstrA doesn't launch in my task manager when I run the .bat. Also the cmd.exe window won't shutdown despite the exit;

Do you guys have any suggestions?

ther are tons of shit that run on windows start that you only need strictly when going to play a game, punkbuster is one, steam.service another, etc.... stupid coders that own my computer!

Set both PB services to manual start up and stop them both. Next create a batch file with the bellow text. Then create a short cut to the batch file and select the short cut to start as admin. The batch file should start pb services when it launches origin, then kill the services leaving them manual after exiting origin.

I've been squashed by the nasty fish three times in the last two nights. Next time I want to witness the event from a distance to try and see the scale of the creature, it's rather hard from right underneath.

Anyone able to test the new NVidia Beta drivers 337.50 on BF4?

It enables ShaderCache to reduce stuttering and improve load times.

Dude at OCN with 680 SLI shows a nice improvement on min FPS (and like 4 fps on max) but thats just one system and test. No word on load times yet; I do think mine are a bit slow despite being on fast SATA 3 SSD so an improvement would be nice.

I will be trying them tonight.

It quite impressive at a distance. I was playing Carrier Assault on the SoC server this past weekend. There was a few times I was at A(?) and by chance was looking that direct to catch a glimpse of the monster. I was not even paying attention to the chat that was going on about getting 10 people on the buoy. It was quite a surprise to see how large it was since as you said it's hard to get a size guess when you're at the event sight.

It sure has, and my skill also went in the crapper. The start of this expansion really seemed to kick my behind, but I think I'm on the mend. I've started playing hardcore servers exclusively now, too, which helps and hurts, depending on the round.

Yeah i do, and yeah, im starting too lose my mind. And I think coming off that oxycontin is not helping.
