BF4 Central - Battlefield 4 Deluxe Edition contents revealed

The Battlefield 4 Deluxe Edition and its contents have been revealed by UK retailer GAME. We’ve previously known about the Deluxe version, but now it appears to have some new additions to the package.
So far the Deluxe Edition appears to be only for the UK, but it’s only a matter of time before it’s announced for other territories. Last week, an unofficial “Collector’s Edition” was revealed as well.
The Deluxe Edition includes a copy of the game in a Steelbook case, a set of three gold Battlefield 4 Battlepacks — which are sets of unlocks used in multiplayer, and the free China Rising DLC.
The Battlefield 4 Deluxe Edition retails for $5 more than the regular version, and we’re not sure if it’s worth the price. The only exclusive item is the Steelbook game cover. The BattlePacks will be available to all players through unlocks, and the DLC is free to anyone who pre-orders the game, regardless of what edition it is.
Battlefield 4 has been doing well when it comes to pre-orders, especially on next gen platforms where it’s outselling first party titles such as Killzone Shadow Fall on the PS4 and Forza 5 on the Xbox One.

I'm gonna be playing some BF3 this weekend. I need to get over my controller complex. I do much better playing with my XB360 gamepad than I do with M/KB. Maybe I've been playing consoles too much lately.

Well you did play a fair amount this weekend....but still on console. :/

My PC has been freezing like crazy, I started the weekend off playing BF3 on PC, but after a few bluescreens I got frustrated. I think my SSD may be going out, or it could be my secondary HDD.

Then I spent the weekend with friends, and lugging the Xbox is much easier than the PC. At least I played BF3 and not CoD, lol.

Last night I had a really stable session on PC. TDM on Canals went well. KB/M is something magical, but I can still get my game on with a XB controller.

It's alright though, because I need to iron out a few kinks in the ol' PC for BF4. Since I won't be buying a next gen console I should be much playing on PC exclusively.

Now if I could only bring my K/D on PC up faster. I freaking suck at BF3.

I whole heartedly agree with the Explosion.com article.

Yea me too, what people fail to realize is that BF2 was only multiplayer and the only single player game they had was if you wanted to do a multiplayer map with bots...

Sadly the multiplayer map with bots was far more fun then traditional single player... they just didnt let you have enough bots lol.

there were a few mods about that fixed that. Unfortunately it was a bit hit&miss - I managed to get 64bots but i couldnt find a way to unlock the bigger maps, having 63 bots squeezed into a 32player sized map is pretty hilarious

What is this deeznuts.com?

Screw BF2, the start of the BF series (1942) didn't have SP either. I remember playing a lot of 1942 DC mod with bots when I didn't have an internet connection. Best part about it was, that 1942 didn't have choppers, so when the mod added them, the bots couldn't fly them. Though they would jump in with you if you got in one, but the instant you got out, the fucker would jump in the driver seat, fly up into the sky then slam the chopper right into the ground. Made for some great laughs. Also if you jumped a tank in the air, even the smallest amount, all of the bots in it would jump out and deploy their parachutes.

They shoulda just brought this back instead. It's a great practice mode too which they laready said they had "listened to the community" about regarding vehicle learning, especially air.
