Played a few rounds today rank 13.

The only thing really nice about the game is you can shoot down choppers/most vehicles with just about any gun.

Was not expected Oman 2.0. Friend was playing with me, said he had to shut down cause he had to clean the sand out of his pc now cause of that map.

Seriously though, who's in charge of making decisions at EA? Cause they need to stop coming up with ideas they got out of their nightmares.

edit: Just did a quick test cause I thought I was 1 shot with the mp5k. At less then 5m mp5k at 850 rpm (rpm it according to Battlelog) does ~33 damage, headshot multiplier is 2x. So 2 shots at less then 5m will kill. At 10m, it was somewhere between 22 and 30 (seemed to jump around from the few tests me and friend got in). The time to kill on this is absurdly low.

I installed and played it. It is a reskinned MOD of BF4 with a $70 price tag. F'ing retarded and I hope no one buys this so they get the idea that a mod for $70 is unacceptable. I would pay at most $30 for it and even then that is pushing it.

If I'm not mistaken, Hardline also has a new kill cam bug in the beta. I'm pretty sure I've not been shown my killer a few times even though they're still alive.

Has the hacking in multiplayer FPS games gotten any more "undercontrol" lately?

I quit both Crysis 2 and BF3 because of how many I was running into.
Infact, I didn't even buy Crysis 3 yet, or BF4.

People shooting through walls across the map killing every single player that spawns the moment they spawn >-<

Most of the crap i experienced was due to the tickrate and netcode. The thing is right that the game only got worse and worse when you went to higher player counts which to me are the most fun and the point of Battlefield. Be nice to know how different the Hardline Beta 2 is in comparison.

The time to kill in this is really short, which seems backwards to me since the premise is a lot less serious. hot wire is worth playing, heist and conquest are better in other games (by far). I would pay $30 to play hot wire, but no more.
there is still an alarming amount of bugs, and the "netcode" is not better. in fact, because of the shorter ttk, its more noticeable.
however, they did get some things right that have been on my nerves since battlefield 3 came out.
the tracer dart has made a welcome return, and lockon weapons are battlefield pickups/ vehicle spawns.
the classes feel a lot more distinct, and i don't feel overwhelmed with a bunch of crap gadgets that have no purpose or place.

Just played a bit on the PS4 and on the PC (been trying to get into console fps just to play with friends randomly, but can't do it). It seems ok so far, I like the Heist mode far more than I ever liked Rush, Hotline I haven't got much time on, only tried it on console and the retarded imprecise analog sticks just make it stupid trying to aim from a moving vehicle. Conquest is well, just Conquest. As far as it being a BF4 mod/dlc/xpac, thats what they all are, usually a few engine upgrades, new maps, new weapons. This time around though it's not military themed. Whether i'll buying it right away or not, not sure. My fun with the BF series has been on decline since BC2.

I played little bit today and got to say I dont really like it. It might be that I havent played any battlefield game before so I'm not used to the mechanics but how can I enjoy something when I die every 10 seconds.
Then again I never planned to buy it anyway.

Tried it, didn't like it, now I will move on to something else.

Dying a lot won't really be a game issue, that'll come down to strategy (don't sprint around corners, use cover, etc). But if MP FPS games aren't your thing, nothings going to change that anyways.

This, pretty much. Hardline feels more like bc2 than it does bf3/4 to me. I'm pretty impressed with the changes made.

to me that's backwards. the step from bf3 to bf4 was not significant, if anything, bf4 brought us gimmicks and annoyances more than anything. to be clear, I have no intention of buying hardline at launch. For everything that seems right about it, there is something that is yet to be fixed. I think we learned our lesson with Betafield 4.

Did they extend the beta? I managed to play today on the 9th and the beta was supposed to end on the 8th

Slowly starting to get the hang of it. Might grab it down the road, very interested for the single player missions too. I enjoyed BF4 single player missions.
