Battlefield V runnin 100-130 fps on ultra on Msi geforce gtx 1080 gaming x

yap folks tested it this morning and boy was i happy to see that i don't need a new gpu(and ray tracing) to run ths game over 100fps on 2560x1440...
sure my i7 8700k oc'd to 4.9ghz and 32gb ddr4 @ 4ghz xmp helped a lot... and no i am not bragging...

how does the game run on your rig??

Nice to hear that, I've tried this morning but I could't play it was still for early access...I will do it this evening and I will come back with some results.

EDIT: I get around between 65-80 fps at 3440x1440,ultra

Its a stutter fest on DX12 for both (AMD and Nvidia from reviews) which doesn't look good when its your only option with RTX

I’m getting around 90FPS on Ultra at 1440 totally fine with that. Now for the game itself, I’ll wait for a sale. I don’t do PVP anymore so I’ll grab it for War Stories on the cheap like I did BF1. I mean the games pretty but PVP for me isn’t fun anymore.

I saw a Youtuber running it with an I7 6800K OC 4.2 GHz , 64GB , 1080ti xtreme , he was getting around 80 FPS on 2k Ultra .

ryzen 1st gen is dirt cheap these days, and will be a big step up from fx8 even if you go for the hexacore 1600.

the Titan V eats it up on the highest settings. I started to experience lag for an hour or so. then I realised it was only happening to me and upon restart it disappeared. looks pretty decent as is on maximum settings. the games fun aswell... :toast:

Mostly high settings, mid 80s to low 100s @1080p GTX 970. Dropped postprocessing to medium, its a hog of a setting, also turned off all the camera effects, blur, CA, distortion etc...what is upsetting is that those are on by default, like I have chromatic aberration with natural eyesight wtf lol

I started on the beta little early had like 3 matches the last 3 days it's fun and most of the times I do around 144fps doesn't seem to go above it with my GTX 1080 Ti Hybrid non-overclocked.
