be quiet! splashes in today with all new fans, and they just happen to be the company's first RGB fans. The Light Wings comes in different options and sizes, and we take a look at the 120 mm high-speed version that aims to best all other RGB fans with an optimal balance of airflow, static pressure, and noise.

Waiting for the bequiet bat wings.

It sounds like the only way to fix the graph clutter issue is to script a graph comparison tool.

It's a discussion that's been had multiple times, but I am a noob at this and I can't really ask others to spend what is apparently a lot of time for this.

Unlikely to happen in the absence of any reciprocation from Arctic, as mentioned each time this comes up.

Since it is a relatively cheap product, why don't you buy it since those tests are for many people and ad revenue will cover multiple times the product cost? Just an idea.

(1) I don't get any ad money from this website, I am a contributor and not an owner or anything
(2) More importantly, I have a lot of samples pending for review and I'd rather give my time to companies that have reciprocated my interest. Cost isn't the issue, it's more that Arctic Cooling has been terrible at getting back to me over years now so I don't particularly feel like doing it much either. If there is ever a lull period then sure I can just get some myself.

I'm betting the 140mm versions of these Light Wings will be much better than the 120mm ones, with regards to both airflow and noise levels

I wonder if the single fan purchase come with the ARBG pieces. Yea I agree $23 is very high for a 120mm fan only.

I think again there's little point in reviewing a high speed version when you don't test out the fans on its max speed.

Would testing at 500rpm be possible?
I guess I'm an edge case in that I have 3x4 140mm fans, but when all of them go at 500rpm it is really quite loud. (Silent Wings 3).

See above, and do the same for the fans of your interest. I test all the fans at their entire RPM range, just that direct comparisons will be very difficult and crowded if I do more.

If you do go with the included ARGB hub, which I recommend, be sure to connect the fans in order, from 1 through 3 (or more), such that there is no break in the lighting effect as it moves from one fan to the next.

Excuse my ignorance but, how can this be possible if the HUB essentially acts as a splitter? wouldn't a 4th pin (data out) be needed coming from the fan to achieve what you are describing?

Ahh you are right, I knew I missed something which my simpler LED controller didn't catch. I will edit it accordingly.
