Can anyone elaborate how this GTX 1080 TI which 2 year older card can outperform the RTX 2060 or RTX 2060 SUPER ? Or is this benchmark untrue ? Really confusing were i thought newer card always perform better but this is opposite :banghead:

Then this screenshot. Is the 1080TI outperform RTX3060 ?

The 1080Ti was a halo flagship card. Yes, it indeed was faster than mid-range of next gen, no mistakes there. This is normal. The 5060 isn’t faster than the 4090 either despite being newer. Context and model range position matters.

UserBenchmark is absolute garbage. There's no need to elaborate on this as the info is all over the internet, even on YouTube.

On the other hand, TPU's Relative Performance is fairly on point and a great source, it adds up to what people perceive overall while gaming even given different engines and so on.

Newer cards have plateaued in their performance improvements over the last few years unless you look at the halo product(s). But yes what you're seeing is accurate.
