Ok, the system is set up, and I would like to do some serious benchmarking,
I have Cinebench 10R, 3DMark 01, 03, 05, 06 and Vantage.
also PCMark 05, Everest Ultimate 4.60, SiSofware Sandra 2009, SuperPi, wPrime...

Now I would like to know how guys on review websites are testing with winRAR and winzip (7zip?), also Game benchmarks? and HD Video compression?

hope you`ll help me, I`m sending tons of link for stock and OC results... :toast:

For the game bench marks, you can either find the program in the downloads section here on TPU, or the games at times will come with the program. I think for Winrar and such, that might be built in, so poke around the menus.

just game-benchmark program? easy? :)

I thought I should get fraps, and take parts of game, and check frames, min, avg, max...

fine...

Ah, my apologies for misunderstanding you. I would assume FRAPS is the most common program for comparing FPS in various games. Never used the program personally so not sure how it works.

and on this link: http://www.techpowerup.com/tpubench/
pcMark 05 and winzip/rar aren`t supported...but I guess it isn`t hard to make plugin by yourself>?

Some games do have a built-in "Benchmark" feature like Company of Heroes for exemple.

oke, I`ve researched this a bit, and downloaded many benchies...
now only games are left...

Does anyone has expirience with game benchies, like demo benchmarks with SmartFPS, or with Fraps?
what do I need beside main program..?

There is no need to run 100 benchmarks .

2-3 Graphic tests , will give you two proofs .

1) Your hardware are flawless .

2) The computer can handle graphics , as all similar systems do.

I`m not really that much worried into stability, I want a thread on my rig, so it involves mods, overclocking and benchies...
and I want to do it proper... :)

now,
Does anyone has expirience with game benchies, like demo benchmarks with SmartFPS, or with Fraps?
what do I need beside main program..?
