I use newegg and haven't had any problems. Even rma'd with no trouble. But I don't have the locking gate issue you do. As long as the office doesn't mind receiving for you, that's ok.

I wouldn't buy from Best Buy though. Like you said, not enough selection and over priced. We have Fry's in our area which has good selection of a lot of computer hardware, but video cards are way over priced.

The main thing is to get the card you want, and not to settle because it's in the store. My experience is you will get a better deal online than at a local retailer, even with shipping.

I saw some 275s there last time I went(thursday or friday). Didn't look at the price, though, as I didn't intend to buy a new video card.
