best catalyst drivers?

    I'm gonna be having a crossfire setup, just wondering what is the best catalyst drivers for the 3870 that I'll see the best performance out off them?

    is that any better than 8.6 normal on a 2900 XT?

    The hot fix is for the 4800 cards AFAIK, so just the normal 8.6's would do.

    i hate the 8.6 drivers.... it causes my phenom o/c to crash... i use the 8.5 and all is well again..:toast:

    8.6 hotfix one caused my fan to idel at 30% when before it was 40% so i'm gonna figure out how to get rivatuner to work

    Just download the newest ver. of Rivatuner and install the updates when prompted to... i think it's ver 2.08.... thats what im using and its working flawlessly:rockout:

    http://www.tweakforce.com/ just download the driver for your version of windows.... they work great....

    you still got that 7950? im looking for a package deal for that and some older console/handheld games im looking for for a 2900xt

    Using 8.6 and haven't had a problems for it - although i would imagine 8.7 will be out soon.
