Sorry this is sort of the same as the "Highest End Games" Thread........

While we're all waiting for the likes of "Crysis" and "Bioshock" what would be the Best First Person Shooter with Nicest Graphics :rockout:

Now I've got and completed the following -

Half Life 2
Half Life 2: Episode One
F.E.A.R. & Extraction Point Exp
Halo
Quake 4
Doom 3
Condemned: Criminal Origins
Sin Episodes: Part 1
Far Cry
S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
Rainbow Six: Vegas
Ghost Recon: Advanced Warfighter
ARMA: Armed Assault
Ubersoldier
Call Of Duty 1 & 2
Painkiller
BF 2
BF 2142
MOH: Pacific Assault
Day Of Defeat Source
Counter Strike Source
Prey
Kreed
King Kong (Movie Game)
Soldier Of Fortune 1 & 2

If anyone can think of another that I dont have already OR can suggest a Download friendly (I only have a 512k connection) mod or 2 to impove these already cool games that would be fantabulous .... :D

I have mods for the following -

S.T.A.L.K.E.R.
Doom 3
Quake 4
Far Cry
Prey
BF 2

Basically what I'm after is an awesome game that looks fricken sweet aswell whether its modded or as is. :pimp:

(cue the HL2 fanboys ... lol)

in my opinion doom 3 quake 4 or halflife 2 have got to be the best games ia have played on for detail oblivion is also 1 but it all depends on is u get the settings right for your system lol:D

edit: i also like the detail in command and conquer 3 but that probly cause i like the series so much:p

oblivion can become heavily modded game e.g. weapon, armor, mission, buildings etc

Thats a pretty good list as it is...

Those are all high budget, sweet look games (or mods created from high budget games). IMO if you find any niche games or the like, you will probably be disappointed with the gfx.

heehee S.T.A.L.K.E.R + 1.003 update patch of course. You might like that game.
Oh yea didn't read the whole thing so didn't see STALKER at the bottom hehehe. You seem to have all of the games I can think of in my head. Have you tried Dark Messiah? and Infernal (3rd person view)? I'm also waiting for Crisis and Quake Wars.

Thanks guys but I've got and/or played all the other games you've suggested ... lol

I think I'm just getting impacient with all the mind blowing games about to come out.

But one game I am also looking foward to is Lost Planet which according to TPU will have a demo out in a matter of days YAY

So I will have something to tie me over for a few days of replaying it over and over ... lol

I just hope its not to far away until we see a "Crysis or Bioshock" Demo.

The problem is I have way to many games and I sit there and think of what I want to play and look at the huge selection then I get frustrated and think fuck this and end up not playing anything .... lol

I agree. It had kickass graphics in it's day, plus you have GOT to love bullet time. I still play it from time to time. It' a 3rd person shooter though, not FPS.

I definately agree .... I had this full game conversion that made it into Mission Impossible 2 and it was pretty cool very well done.

FEAR is still my favorite FPS. I just love the way it builds tension. Haven't tried the Extraction Point expansion yet, tho.

Graphically, I think it goes to HL2: Ep1, however.

Unreal Tournament 2004, you can max the graphics out on most systems these days and it still looks and plays really excessively well. (you can even run it on intels GMA950 integrated graphics ;) )

For me it has to be the vegas levels on RB6:Vegas (although I have the 360 version).

For graphics on a PC only game I do prefer the BF series simply due to the scale.

Also I watched the trailer for Bioshock on the 360 the other day and damn that looks sweet (especially the particle effects)
