Best free all-in-one hardware health diagnostics software?

Hello,

my PC is old ,so I would like to test its hardware parts health,part by part.

So, I need some good free all in one hardware diagnostics utility.

My PC is not branded.

Please help me.

most of that stuff is garbage. outside of Storage error checking, id suggest you stay away from any program that offers "system diagnostics"

aida64 is a in depth tool, that will let you see everything from your motherboard firmware, to your windows activation Key.

im not certain but ccleaner MIGHT be legit, but im not 100% on that. im not sure of all its functionality, but it does some stuff.
id just recommend a good virus scan (malwarebytes & defender), Drive optimization (built in to windows)

Not a fan of ccleaner. If you know what you're doing with it, it can be fine, but a lot of the things it tries to fix, it has no business messing with. It's easy to go in there trying to squeeze more out and royally bork things.

Besides the fact I totally disagree with robot zombies assessment of CCleaner (I've used it for nearly 2 decades on 100s of computers and never, not once, ever had it ever "bork" a computer beyond what a simple reboot didn't fix - and even that was an extremely rare issue), CCleaner is not "health diagnostics program" so it should never have been mentioned in the first place.

If you can see Windows and your programs running on your monitor, your hardware is working so don't try to fix it. Beyond that, I agree with jboydgolfer and the only thing you might want to do is verify the health of your drive(s) using Windows own Error Checking.

There is no health diagnostics program for motherboards or CPUs. I wish there was. As for RAM, I only recommend PassMark’s MemTest86. Allow the diagnostics to run for several passes or even overnight. You should have no reported errors – not even one.

Note, however, while software-based RAM diagnostic tools are good, none are 100% conclusive. If they report any errors, even one, the RAM is bad. But it is not uncommon for them to report no problems, yet the RAM still fails in use, and/or when paired with other RAM. So, swapping in all new RAM is often the best test - but of course, not everyone has a bunch of spare RAM laying around so you might try running with just a single RAM stick to see if it fails. Repeat process with remaining modules, hopefully identifying the bad stick, if any, through a process of elimination. Just be sure to unplug the computer from the wall (and remove the battery if a notebook) and touch bare metal of the case interior BEFORE reaching for the RAM to discharge any destructive static in your body.

Note to conclusively test your RAM, you need to use sophisticated and very expensive test equipment, like this $2,495 Memory Tester (and that's for the cheap model)! So it is usually easier (and cheaper!) to swap in known good RAM and see what happens.

HWiNFO64 is a great hardware monitor program, but it is not a "diagnostics" program either. Yes, it will tell you your temps and voltages and speeds, etc. and is very informative. In fact, the amount of information it provides can be overwhelming. But it does not "diagnose" problems. That is, if you temps are too high, it will not tell you why.

i don't know an all in one for your case (stay away from glary utilities or iobit things)
but for disk you can try crystaldiskinfo to see if there are any problems
for ram you can use memtest
for gpu the best thing is to fire up something like furmark to see if it crashes, what temps reaches, fan speed....
for cpu you can try some benchmarks like cinebench to see if it's stable (i doubt you will have issues if it's everything at stock)

Ive been using CCleaner for years to clean up old registry entries that are no longer valid and for cleaning temp files and the like. Never once had an issue.

Speccy can't correctly tell you how much VRAM a card has half the time. Hwinfo or cpu/gpuz would be so much better.

i understand what you want, but sorry to say, it doesnt exist, & if a program says it WILL do what youre asking, its a PuP. thats the sad part of the internet, it capitalizes on what people want, despite it not existing, like unicorns, or system diagnostic programs, or downloadable RAM upgrades.

im 100% certain if you go looking for what youre asking about, you'll 'find' it, but it will be a lie.
My initial response to your question was the right response, you can diagnose your drives, or your RAM, even your OS to a degree, but you'll need more than one program. Windows does most of it, & memtest can do the RAM. this question has been answered.

Are you having symptoms that are leading you to suspect a faulty motherboard? As Bill said:

There's not really anything to diagnose if you're not having any problems. Motherboards aren't like drives - they don't report bad sector counts or SMART data. If you're not having any issues with your system, it's safe to assume your motherboard is in good shape. The furthest I would go would be maybe going to your motherboard's product page and making sure you have the latest chipset/LAN/audio drivers installed.

Edit: There could be an argument for updating your motherboard's BIOS, but again, if your system is working just fine, there isn't a dire need to update it.

As DtoG notes, it depends on the problem.

But for me, as an electronics tech, I start at the wall. Is it plugged in? Is it turned on? Am I delivering good, clean stable power? Therefore, unless something obvious to suggest otherwise, I ALWAYS make sure I am providing good, clean stable power to everything inside the case by swapping in a known good PSU to see if the problem remains, or goes away.

I've heard about PC Doctor Toolbox and Eurosoft PC-Check ,that they are both being used as diagnostics softwares.
But is there some free program which does the same job?

Please tell me everything I can do in order to diagnose my motherboard health.

My PC randomly freezes,crashes,sometimes works slowly and laggy,especially while I am typing text in browser's searchbox.

Sometimes it runs some checkdisk scans on its own while booting.

BTW ,the temps of the CPU,GPU and SSD are perfectly fine.

I've tested the RAM memory with MemTest86+ and it hasn't detected any error.

I am also having some problems with the overclock of my GPU.

The GPU's clocks revert to the stock very often,even when I am not gaming,but especially while I am gaming.
