for that price point I'd much rather have the 880M than 4GB of extra memory.

Though this one doubles the ssd and has the memory

To get both puts you a tad higher than your highest price point on ASUS

or just in it for msi

When buying a laptop ordering is a better option in general because of selection. If your limited to bestbuy well you do have some options but your going to pay a premium.

If you are spending the money, you need to get a gpu of either the M290X or the 880m.

I have owned both MSI gaming laptops and asus. I personally prefer MSI because the parts are upgradable beyond what asus used to be in the past. However the design of the asus do look better to me.

I would recommend this MSI from bestbuy as it will give you the most bang for your buck!
