Interesting, same exact ones I had, based on my guess on how to interpret the serials they are from around the same time period (H1 2017) as well.. Mind you I never tried them with a zen/zen+ chip, only my 3600... I never tried OCing them on the 3600 but they ran the XMP without any problems, on the 7700k they ran 1.38v 3200 15 16 16 31...
Only the dual rank (16GB) variety of these 3200c16 v5.39 sticks is supported on my board's QVL...
The main thing that I find odd is that according to some reputable sources these v5.39 kits are Hynix MFR, however my sticks and the ones of a few other people I personally know were all AFR... I do wonder whether that is a factor... Though it sounds to me like it might just be Corsair doing overzealous binning...
Either way, well off topic...
B-die if price isn't a big factor, rev. E or CJR/JJR if you want cheap stuff, that's all assuming you don't mind tweaking a bit. Anything that is specifically on a board's QVL for XMP-and-forget use will probably be fine, b-die XMPs are probably going to be at the top of the performance here but at XMP you won't lose much at all by going for ICs.
