Best GPU I Can Buy For 400W EVGA PSU?

Navi is on par with Nvidia for performance/power a 5600 XT uses around the same power as a 2060 for the same performance but slaps a 1660 Ti about in performance, and costs the same price..

Navi is on par with Nvidia for performance/power a 5600 XT uses around the same power as a 2060 for the same performance but slaps a 1660 Ti about in performance, and costs the same price..

I have a EVGA 400W PSU. My budget is like around $200. I just want to play gta v and watchdogs 2. I play lower end games aswell, like Cod WaW and Bayonetta. Aswell as playing ps3 emulators.

Many others asking around the web have suggested the same line of GTX cards as you are using.
Someone said they were running a GTX 970, another said he couldn't run his GTX 750 tI while someone else said they could.

In theory it should be fine with almost all but the most power hungry modern cards but honestly who recommends a 5700XT/2070 class gpu with a 360w power supply {30a +12v) a 5500xt/1660 would be about as much as I'd look to pair up with that old cpu and power supply even those will be bottlenecked

4GB version only has an 8pin power connector and power draw of around 130W

I'm not doubting you, just basing my statement of the MSI card I have.

I think it's because in theory I'm hitting around 350-400w if I load it all up at once. Everything is stock and the C states are enabled so I shouldn't hit 400w at all. Just means it'll get a real good workout.

Do you use a plugin power meter to see the amount of juce your system pulls from the wall socket?

I ask because silly me was duped into buying a 1000w PSU for my old X99 rig. One i7-5930k with 64GB of RAM and 2x 980 ti's + 2 SSD's and one mechanical drive.
Didn''t even pull 700w according the my plugin power meter, pfff.

When you say you have this in the same rig. You mean the same motherboard aswell?? If not i found a Asus motherboard with the same i7 and with a cooler for $100. Not sure if i should just buy the processor or go with this bundle

i7 860 probably isn't "much" better than your 3470 and definitely not worth spending $100 on, buy your GPU and then look to saving to replace your CPU/RAM/Motherboard and PSU when you can

If I get a chance to shut off all my rigs I'll check my killawatt with just that rig on.

It's just a generic board. I forgot what it was and forgot how much ram is in it.

Sounds good. Ill just buy a 1660 or the one you recommended the 5600xt,i believed or does it take too much power? Plus on the 1660 does it matter which version i get?
