Best high-end power supply for the price?

Try the NSpire Q series brand if you can find it in your area. I got my 550 watt for only 60 bucks.. it was the cheapest around and I shopped around a lot.. most others were 100 or more.. the 650's shouldn't be much more than that.

I buy parts from a place that sells new but discounted parts.. a small company.. they dont have the markup the big stores have.

I just picked up the Silverstone 850 watt Strider+ modular for $147can from ncix.com. It's a little beast of a psu with 67amps on a single rail. Can't go wrong!

I have a Antec EA500 and I'll tell you what..It's probably the worst PSU I've ever owned...I'm done with ANTEC PSU's....It replaced a 4 year old Rosewill that did everything I wanted and then some unlike this Antec garbage (i know b4 i get flamed I already know it's a mid range model and I should have spent more)
I'll prolly get that TX750 next

I know, little bit on the pricey side, but quality is expensive. This is why we don't buy our shoes at payless.

oh but they perform equally to the HX850, if not in efficiency (like 0.5 - 1% behind max), in the Voltage control and ripple they are better for sure.

funnily, at jonny guru, the XFX loses a lot of points in look because it is to flashy to his liking lol... one got 7/10, the other 8/10, while the Corsair get 10/10
