    download CPU-Z software from http://www.cpuid.com/cpuz.php

Install it. Go to the Memory tab and it will tell what brand the memory is and what are the timings that are programmed in the eprom etc.

Go to SPD tab and u can see all info about the memory.

Is ur bios way behind? If it is not giving you problems why FLASH then?

sorry never read all the topic,

dos cant see c: cos its ntfs?

id try putting the voltage up a notch on the ram to see if that keeps it stable,

if raising ram speed try relaxing the timings
my old sktA system ran at bout 220mhz @ 3-3-3-9 with 2.8v

if flashing from floppy u need all the stuff on the disk,
delete the help file, command.com and himen.sys (i think, cant remember if thats the ones to delete, i used a win98 bootdisk)
then put the flash utility an bios file on disk
then i used the command while in a:
    AWDFLASH.EXE xxxxxx.BIN
or make a .bat file (make a note and change the .txt extension to a .bat) with this command
    AWDFLASH.EXE xxxxxx.BIN /CC /CD /CP /F /R /PY /SN
it will force flash without confirmation so use carefully

theres not enough room on the disk to fit a back up of my old bios so i have to switch to c and let it copy there
but it dosint let me as the floppy dosint detect ntfs
