Best PSU <$100 for 2900 XT?

My friend is looking to upgrade and buy a Radeon 2900 but he, and I, are unsure which PSU to get. I was going to recommend the OCZ GameXStream 700W since I've used it in a few builds for myself but its over his budget. He just needs a PSU for a single card, no crossfire or anything. Can anyone recommend a good one for under $100?

There are lots of "good" ones under $100, but the mid-range ones usually perform, well, in the middle. I'd get a really nice PSU to feed that card. Your friend already spent $400+ for the video card. Why not treat it well, 'eh?

I'd recommend any Seasonic. You can probably get a Corsair 620HX for around $100, maybe a little more. Or you could go with a PC Power & Cooling.

Is the 2900 power enough to play the latest games at 1920x1080? He's gonna be buying this 1080P 37" LCD TV to use as a monitor, which is whats taking up most of his budget. His budget is about $2000, so maybe I'll see if he can sacrifice somewhere else for now and get a higher end PSU.

Enermax is also a good brand. My 500 watt Liberty is more than enough for what I have(in sig). I really don't think you are going to find a great PSU for under $100. All the ones being mentioned here are really good though.

This guy is getting a $900 37" monitor and a HD 2900XT and you're telling me he can't get a decent PSU? Tell him to get a nice Silverstone PSU.
