I cant find any listings for my set, but i Brought a expensive yahama set about 6 years ago and they still sounds like new. It contains a sub and two sattelite speakers. I think as long as you buy a good well known brand you can't really go wrong.

The model i have is Yamaha YSTMS30W if you can find any. I've yet to read a bad review of them.

If you can't find the Yamaha suggested by TheCrow, I'd say go for the Logitech Z-2300.
Then again, you may want more than a 2.1 setup ;)

i suggest the $70 logitech setup from wallmart 5.1 with adjustable bass ah yea now i remember the logitech x530 5.1 set\

http://www.amazon.com/dp/B0002WPSCG/?tag=tec06d-20

wallmart has those in my area for about $70 so in theory it should be cheaper across the pond and if you can justify another $20 or so get the x 540s there better set overall

i have the logitech Z-5500 5.1 system and if i were to buy a 2.1 system now id go for these:
Acoustic Energy Aego M 2.1 Speaker System

They come in white or black and are priced just above your £100 mark but well worth it if you can find a pair... excellent choice for music and games and highly rated in all reviews:

EDIT: found a pair here though if you search google you can probably do better price wise ;)
