Just did some research on it and it's JUST an 80 PLUS rating, not good enough to be bronze. It's rated at 80% efficiency.

Would be great for something that's either low power or regularly shut off.

Edit: still really tempted though.

Got my Corsair H50 from Best Buy. They had a weekend sale on it for $30. Everywhere else she was going for $60 at the time. So, once in a great, great while (like, every 5 years or so I guess) they surprise us!

I wouldn't hesitate to purchase as a backup psu, a lower end build, or for a family member's build. At least it's 80 Plus

I've used a few of these, mostly as spares...makes a great bench PSU to quickly swap in a system to verify. One of the better ubercheap PSU's I've used, and at this price damn worth it. Ordered one as a secondary spare PSU.
