better than my cpu

athlon 64 5200 Dual Core 2 x 1152KB Cache how much better is this cpu than the one i have
couse im upgradin on a budget and ive always been a keen intel fan,and is this a wise move? can i get a better cpu for the same price?btw i live in the uk so try uk prices if possible.

how much are you paying for it.... what are you doing for the MB?

the cpu is £114 and the mobo is ASRock AliveNF6G-DVI for £49 and yes i kno its asrock

It's a good CPU which will be a fair bit quicker than your current and should overclock to 3Gig with little effort if you know what you are doing. Don't pay £114 for it thought, pay £105.70........here:

Geek, how much you got to spend on the Graphics card, I am thinking of E baying my 7900GTO, it's actually a GTX as it clocks beyond GTX speeds and has the same core but it aint gonna be cheap! (although cheaper than a new current midranged card).
