hi all, i recently switched from xp to win 7 about a month ago. i'm getting this wierd issue in bf2 where any server messages, like rules ie, or welcome messages blink.

i never had this issue on xp, i have all the same hardware, everything set the same way. so my question is, have any of you heard of/seen this before? it's new to me and quite annoying, i quickly made a fraps video of ingame while it blinks, so you can see.it seems to be worse when i look up.

now ive tried changing all the video settings in nvidia control panel , even reinstalled the graphics drivers twice, still an issue. everything else works fine, all other games work fine.

it's odd that only that one part of the game is affected, and after a few weeks of looking at that shit, i need it gone! any help or suggestions is appreciated.

well this is still eating away at me, today i had the day off from work, so i installed xp sp3 on one of my other hard drives, and dual booted into xp installed bf2 fully updated it and went to try and get any blinking. I didnt get any, switched back to win 7, went into the same servers that i just was in with xp(that i didnt get any blinking), and now have blinking once again. so it's deffinatly a windows 7 issue, im still trying to figure out what this is and how to possibly fix this.

fixed it, atleast so far its ok was able to play for about a half an hour without any blinks, ussually it would blink instantly. i uninstalled nvidia's 3d vision drivers, all seems fine now.

yea seems to be, havent played bf2 after the quick test, started playing half life 2 episode one, and still working throu just cause 2.ma ybe later tonight or tomorrow i'll play for a few hours to test it thouroughly.

ok, played bf2 lastnight for a few hours and it seems to be back to normal, guess it was the 3d vision doing it.
