I will speculate that the phase change unit by itself is about $800 to a $1200 :nutkick:

without the case, add another $150 to $200 for the case. Considering it will be pre-built I suspect this rig to be in the ballpark of $7000 to $10,000 grand. :eek:

..Looks nice and trick but I think I'll stick with liquid cooling. No through the roof prices :wtf:

and no risk of condensation!!! :toast:

thank god you weren't being serious im just going to point this out my many years old low end PC plays crysis on med/high which is all you would get out of a PS3/360 and it cost in the same price area many years ago...

yeah but theres three components ona single run phase unit, personally if I was to run 3 components, i'd use cascade at least and a huge compressor. the unit may run the quad core down to -15, but I bet the unit is extremely wattage limited as most good phase units can't handle 300 watts. which between 2 gtx's and the oced quad has to be quite close to that. cascade runs much cooler and can handle more wattage. thus even though it's phase, water in this case might be better.

yeah it could. but its slow enough on PC that half hte graphics would have to be disabled for any console

yeah you'd have to scale it down a whole lot.. there is a BIG difference in Bioshock for 360 and pc... That is if you've played Bioshock in Dx10 you'll see the differences. Thats why you see games build for the pc that doesn't get built for consoles. Yeah, you have the FPS's like unreal and COD 4... But I've played COD 4 on both, and the PC is so much better looking then the 360 version. So much better.

i've experienced myself COD 4 on PS3 and PC. Honestly its a whole different game, PS3 is great, but compared to what I see when I play on my PC, its a big difference. Honestly it runs as good, and the it looks way better on PC.

with my system i'm able to play crysis at max settings at 1680x 1050 resolution and the FPS is great. Ive spent just over 600 dollars
