bios flashing

My mobo is an Asus M2NPV-VM. It came from a stock HP computer so I have no BIOS options (i can't OC, etc.) I was wondering if a bios flash would fix this or if its even worth a try. I'd rather not screw up my mobo, but i would like to push my processor for once :rockout:

I would have a good read of the manual...... then the flash should work......you should be able to 'hot flash' it back ,,,but you would need another HP board to do it
