Despite everything else being mediocre, this board does have a good sound chip for B450.

Biostar is making a comeback. I like the layout. The lack of heatsinks on the upper VRM's is a bit worrisome though. Likely isn't an issue.

D-sub and DVI, really? Why not a DP port and a couple of extra USB ports instead?
I don't get these "budget" boards that keep these old connectors alive. It's not hard to get a DP or even HDMI to DVI adapter or even D-sub if you got an ancient screen.
I mean, this isn't even that much of a budget board considering some of the inclusions.

Now can one of the other board makers come up with a reasonably high-end mATX board for Ryzen?

Some people actually want them natively supported. Makes for a great board to use with an older screen/HDTV.

Adapter cables can be hit or miss. A board like this takes the guess work out of the equation.

Never had a single problem with adapters, apart from maybe when DFP was a thing. Not even VGA to BNC, as long as you got the right count of BNC connectors on the other end.

So why is this "news"?
The board was introduced way back in 2018 ...
I'd understand, if this was at least a new revision, but it's the exact same model.

You need to stop buying bargain bin adapter
:p
Actually, a few of the problem cables have been the "Amazon Basics" brand.
but it's the exact same model.
I just looked on the Biostar website. No it isn't.

I also went and looked at their site, and there is no other B450GT3 listed.
Even under "support" they only have this one model... B450GT3 ver. 6.x.

Which IS the same model you could buy since 2018.
You know what, you're right! This is the same one. I didn't look close enough earlier.
If you look at the bios files, the oldest one listed is;

B45AS713.BSSInitial BIOS 16384 KB2018-07-13

@Raevenlord
Um, don't want to sound rude here, but what's up? This board has been out for a while. It's labeled a "Press Release", but it's a little late to the party eh?
