i have a few m.2 ssds they are all locked with bitlocker,i have tried about every software i can think of to delete the partitions but nothing seems to be working,has anyone seccuessfully deleted bitlocker partitions without a key and made the drives useable again

you likely need to do an opal reset using the PSID printed on the drive.

The command line software sed-util can help you.

You can try running a clean command on the drives through DiskPart.

what does that mean? What error are you getting. I wipe my bitlocker drives with clean.

no errors it says completed
yet partitions are still there

So you did the following?

>diskpart

> list disk

> sel disk X (where X is your bitlocker drive number)

>clean

Completed isn't a valid message in diskpart. Do you have a screen shot?

i will run it again in a little while and post pics of whats going on

now every time i type clean nothing happens and the drive drops out of diskpart but remains in device manager
have to restart windows for it to show again,retry and the same thing happens

Yeah, drive is read-only until you do an opal reset. You are only seeing the hardware preboot section.

Look into sed-util.

bitlock is made for a window intergrated system, any chance to reformart through other os like linux?, maybe it could do the job, i just guessing tho, never personally experience that

It won't make a difference, this is a hardware issue. The drive won't erase under any OS until reset.

im clueless as to what to do with this program,figured out how to get it to run under windows cmd but it locks up the computer,gonna try usb bootable next
all this stuff is way over my head i would rather send the drives to someone and let them do it for me so i dont mess something up

You need some microsoft redist to run it. Let me find it for you.

not detecting the drives,im about to just give up on these drives,i would even just ship them to someone who knows what to do if there willing to fix them for me

got it to detect but its not an opal supported drive so it wont let me run it on the drive from what im seeing the program is for 2.5 ssds only not m.2

so far ive tried several methods to wipe these drives including opal and using different chipset raid cards including server grade raid cards hoping to create a raid just for the purpose of removing partitions and nothing so far seams to work,and cant seem to find the firmware for these anyone so i can try and reflash them wich as of yet is the only other thing i can think of,any input would be helpful
