these are a GREAT choice if you Case isnt big on space...its classified as ATX, but it is smaller by a decent bit than other ATX units, my NZXT 550 Watt is about an inch in each direction larger.

big juicy $40 rebates from Seasonic ;)

750Watt

850 watt

this is even cheaper than i paid at release time :( $70 for a 10 year warranteed 850 watt seasonic isnt bad in ANY way shape or form.

I don't know if its a good deal but Threadripper 1950X will be -$200 off on that Newegg Black Friday teaser.
newegg blackfriday.png

A number of 1070 8GB will be 399.99. I was hoping for $350.

This isn't bad for the Ryzen:

This looks like it's one of the few actual deals on that Newegg.com Black Friday sale. & It's definitely a good deal because people considered the $890 price tag a good deal while back.i'm sure there's a few people slamming their fists right now and considering returning their original ones to get this deal.

I really hope Newegg has more to offer than what they've posted so far because it doesn't bode well for them. but their decline has been ever present over the last couple years

yeah, they seem to have close to that price always, but you need to make the purchase in store. Thats the good part about having MC close ;)

i can take a drive and get a
AMD FX 8320E Black Edition Vishera for $80
or a
Intel Core i7-7700K for $280 + another $30 off when purchased with a MoBo

their RAM, and Storage prices arent any different on average than etailers tho ime....they may have a sale here and there, but CPU's ,are where their best deals are at.

anyone looking for electronics, or other items , i really recommend you take a look at the Walmart Black Friday sales, they are pretty amazing.
heres a few of the pretty decent deals.
Samsung 40" Class 4K (2160P) Smart LED TV $328.00

Acer A315-51-380T 15.6" , 7th Gen Intel Core i3-7100U, 4GB DDR4, 1TB HDD, Windows 10 $280.00
Darn, nice find. Big thanks on the laptop find. That will work nice as a Xmas day gift for my Dad who been bugging the whole year for a laptop to replace the 8+ year old one he has. Just have to get an external CD/DVD drive to go with it.

I'm hell bent on AMD, simple as that

I remember I was just like you during my choice of FuryX versus 980Ti. I hope you won't regret your choice down the road. And best of luck!

Are you getting the silver Vega 64 or just the plain black ones?

I'm get one too. You can play Grandtheftauto5 on low settings ,plus it's got plenty of storage, 4 threads , its good enough for the kids. The version with the i5 is about 50 bucks more if you need more horsepower

My Dad does not do any gaming. So, a i3 should last him for another few years of usage. About the most interest he gets in a game is when I play my PS4 and he watches for the story line (right now I am doing 2nd play through on HZD for him).

You know their $560 on amazon right? The cost of gas & time would make it more expensive likely at microcenter (or atleast diminish the saving heavily)

The cost of amazon would be around $600 all said n done
The cost from MC eould be around $550 without considering time spent ofc

Unless of course you're going for the fun or something else as well, I can totally understand going there ,like a kid in a candy store ;)

Amazon is also a really easy return.

That's an extremely good point, you never EveR want to deal with returning something at Micro Center. From my experience (personally) ,and from people I know personally ,it isn't fun , not to mention there's a drive involved.except for when it's an RMA of course because then you send it directly to the manufacturers warehouse. But otherwise your chained to that store for the period of your products warranty/return window.

Don't get me wrong Micro Center is great, but I make a point of only purchasing a limited number of things. partly because they don't really have good prices over etailers on some items ,and also because likelihood of return requirement. CPU,RAM, and any random deal items with a low chance of failure

Well I have returned to Microcenter before. It wasn't bad. I have to say that Amazon is the easiest to return though, they don't ask any questions.

If you get a DOA motherboard, Newegg will force you to deal with the manufacturer. Amazon will just take the return. I returned an unstable CPU to microcenter and it was fairly easy. If you live a distance from the store though, I'd do Amazon so you don't have to drive back just to return it. Microcenter is only 10 minutes from my house so I would be fine doing either.

I kick myself for not nabbing one when I saw those on Newegg for $499 when I first saw that card.

I am looking for a 17" laptop for the wife. Let me know if there are any good deals out there!!! Would be used for basic computer applications (Word, Excel) and picture editing. She does not game.
Any help would be appreciated:)
