these are a GREAT choice if you Case isnt big on space...its classified as ATX, but it is smaller by a decent bit than other ATX units, my NZXT 550 Watt is about an inch in each direction larger.

This looks like it's one of the few actual deals on that Newegg.com Black Friday sale. & It's definitely a good deal because people considered the $890 price tag a good deal while back.i'm sure there's a few people slamming their fists right now and considering returning their original ones to get this deal.

I really hope Newegg has more to offer than what they've posted so far because it doesn't bode well for them. but their decline has been ever present over the last couple years

Micro center has the 1950X at 799 for about a week or so.

If you live close to a Micro center I would definitely check them out. Micro center always have pretty dope deals.

yeah, they seem to have close to that price always, but you need to make the purchase in store. Thats the good part about having MC close

AMD FX 8320E Black Edition Vishera for $80
or a
Intel Core i7-7700K for $280 + another $30 off when purchased with a MoBo

their RAM, and Storage prices arent any different on average than etailers tho ime....they may have a sale here and there, but CPU's ,are where their best deals are at.

I would recommend against any AMD high end GPU. Get a 1080 for just $20 bucks more. Better performance and better power draw.

Darn, nice find. Big thanks on the laptop find. That will work nice as a Xmas day gift for my Dad who been bugging the whole year for a laptop to replace the 8+ year old one he has. Just have to get an external CD/DVD drive to go with it.

I'm get one too. You can play Grandtheftauto5 on low settings ,plus it's got plenty of storage, 4 threads , its good enough for the kids. The version with the i5 is about 50 bucks more if you need more horsepower

My Dad does not do any gaming. So, a i3 should last him for another few years of usage. About the most interest he gets in a game is when I play my PS4 and he watches for the story line (right now I am doing 2nd play through on HZD for him).

You know their $560 on amazon right? The cost of gas & time would make it more expensive likely at microcenter (or atleast diminish the saving heavily)

The cost of amazon would be around $600 all said n done
The cost from MC eould be around $550 without considering time spent ofc

Unless of course you're going for the fun or something else as well, I can totally understand going there ,like a kid in a candy store

That's an extremely good point, you never EveR want to deal with returning something at Micro Center. From my experience (personally) ,and from people I know personally ,it isn't fun , not to mention there's a drive involved.except for when it's an RMA of course because then you send it directly to the manufacturers warehouse. But otherwise your chained to that store for the period of your products warranty/return window.

Well I have returned to Microcenter before. It wasn't bad. I have to say that Amazon is the easiest to return though, they don't ask any questions.

If you get a DOA motherboard, Newegg will force you to deal with the manufacturer. Amazon will just take the return. I returned an unstable CPU to microcenter and it was fairly easy. If you live a distance from the store though, I'd do Amazon so you don't have to drive back just to return it. Microcenter is only 10 minutes from my house so I would be fine doing either.

I kick myself for not nabbing one when I saw those on Newegg for $499 when I first saw that card.
