Really? 10 meters (~35ft) has always been about the max for any BT I've encountered.

I see.. Haha, don't know about that , I'm using the Asus BT400 though...I sit close to the receiver, I never sit 100 meters away from my PC when I'm using it, my living room isn't that big.

My dad has a wireless mouse that came with a little usb thing. He uses it for his laptop which also has windows 10. I was wondering maybe I can use it to connect my headphones. Will this work?

It prolly doesn't have A2DP, but doesn't hurt to try.

On t the usb there is no indication of model number. It just says Logitech. How do I find the proper driver.

It's probably just a receiver and wont be detected by itself.
Also is it a Blu-tooth mouse or wireless?

A wireless Mouse receiver uses Radio Frequencies and can't be paired with Blu-tooth devices.
