Looking for something simple and not looking to pay a lot. Something like a i3 with a simple board will be great and bonus points for memory included. I really, really don't want to pay out too much.

It'll be paired with a GTX 960 to play Black Desert Online, since this rig will be a gift for a friend who has helped me out quite a bit. (Nearly lost their home while letting me stay with them)

List them up! Heatware in sig I think.

I've got an FX-4300 and an ASUS M5A99X Evo motherboard if your interested. M5A99X Evo has a little scorch mark on one of the pins on the 24-pin power connector from a power supply that went nuclear, but the board has run fine for over a year since. I had the FX-4300 at 4.6GHz with this board and an H80i cooler.

I'd say $75 Shipped, $80 if you need me to include a stock AMD cooler.

You ever up the clocks or bclk on it? I never played with a Sandy before so I'm not too sure on how the clocks run.

I never really tested it with gaming. It was in a media server with a GTX650Ti video card. Though I can imagine it would bottleneck a GTX960 all that much in modern games if the FX-4300 was running at 4.0GHz+.

No idea, never used it. I put the chip under the H80i and that is where it lived its entire life. But since the stock cooler is the all aluminium crappy cooler, I'm going to say it gets pretty toasty.
