BONEWORKS Is a narrative VR action adventure using advanced experimental physics mechanics. Dynamically navigate through environments, engage in physics heavy combat, and creatively approach puzzles with physics.

• Advanced Physics: Designed entirely for consistent universal rules, the advanced physics mechanics encourage players to confidently and creatively interact with the virtual world however you want.
• Combat: Approach combat in any number of ways you can think off following the physical rules of the game's universe. Melee weapons, firearms, physics traps, environments, can all be used to aid you in fights with enemy entities.
• Weapons, lots of weapons: Boneworks provides players with a plethora of physics based weaponry; guns, swords, axes, clubs, spears, hammers, experimental energy weapons, nonsensical mystery tools, and anomalous physics weapons.
• Interaction: Hyper realistic VR object and environment interaction.
• Story: Play through the game's mysterious narrative and explore the deep inner workings of the Monogon Industries' artificial intelligence operating system; Myth OS.
• Character Bodies: Accurate full IK body systems built from the ground up provide a realistic looking body presence and allow for a maximum level of immersion with physical interaction in the game space.

Yea, I'm really worried about getting sick.. lol I haven't had VR sickens in a while. Years really when I played HL2 in VR on my DK1. I think I'll be fine in sessions.

I played 4 hours straight of arizona sunshine and breathe pavlov in my sleep, but boneworks did bad things to me

It may be just too demanding for my 'weak' VR PC on the default settings, not sure yet.

Do you have any super sampling turned on? What is your frame time chart looks like?

Also we need to group together sometime. Super difficult to find someone to play Arizona Sunshine co-op.

I miss this post a minute ago.. lol you ninja'd it in! Yea, my backlog is to many to count.. lol but I will play this game tonight I hope.

Now, I'm scared! lol I'm going to take it slow. I hear it has 3x speeds. I'll go very slow. I hear that most people are getting sick with body collision and climbing. Hopefully they can adjust the climbing in future updates because it looks cool.

Developers REALLY need to figure out better leg locomotion. As of now we are only utilizing the upper body in VR. Leg (needs) works, not just bones.

steamVR is set to 100%, oculus running in default settings. I've had performance issues in more than one title, my rift S is more demanding than my old WMR was, and i haven't figured out the bottleneck yet.

I heard Rift S seems to work better with native Oculus store titles. Could that be the cause?

Edit: i'm on the PTC oculus software and thats supposedly the cause, makes total sense why i couldnt figure out the FPS drops

Oh it is quite different. I vomited my guts out too when I tried those 3D TV stuff. But I never got sick, not even once since owning Vive for the past 3 yrs.

VR is way different than 3d tv's. I guess I was lucky that 3d tv's never made me sick. The sickest I've ever been in VR was using my DK1 and playing Half-life 2 in VR. It looked amazing and was the reason I pushed myself to play it until I couldn't bare it.. lol After that I didn't touch my Dk1 for almost 7-8 months.. lol I started back playing it when they announced the Vive.

The Vive hasn't ever made me sick either. I did have to take breaks with my dk1 and over time I could play it longer without getting sick until I played HL2.. lol I was sick for a solid 2 hours. I never hurled but my stomach was pretty upset.

I'm pretty confident my sickness was caused by low framerates from me settings things up wrong, i've only had the rift headset a week and fiddled with a lot of advanced settings

the save/checkpoint system needs you to finish a level to save, so try not to leave the game after a puzzle you found difficult mid level

Yea I read that they are working on a mid-level save system but we won't get it before January.

Yeah been reading a lot of reviews. I am gonna wait until next year's summer sale to pick it up for a good discount~
