Bricked RX 580 8gb oc armor

Hello everyone I've been in a pickle for the last six months as I haven't had time to really mess with it. I bought thgraphics card RX 580 8GB overclock edition armor from eBay in the description it said it was used for mining that was all. I gamed on it for almost three months before I realized that it was working under a modded bios. When I found this out I then watched some step by step videos on how to install new bios to the card when I visit this site I noticed there was three different images that went to my card I downloaded the first one used ATI to flash it after that the fans on the card with spin but no video output. I have been stuck because I only have one PCI Express slot on my computer. I bought a riser That uses the mini PCI.
My question is can I fix this and has anyone fix this problem before with their RX 580 graphics card. And also can I reinstall the BIOS with the mini pcie Express card attached to my computer.I really appreciate anyone taking their time to help me out with this. Thank you and have a wonderful day

The actual solution this is of you returning the card to the seller, so him to fix it for you under a fee.
Any reasonable person he will never buy a card used in mining.
Mining system this is not a regular PC.

id have no problem buying a mining card "sorry above" thay are mainly looked after as good if not better than a normal user but i do agree the seller should of put the og bios back on it before he sold it. you should be able to unbrick it. do you know anyone with a pc with 2 slots because it would be the easyest way to do it.

i did this many times so far and i never had big issues.

and in most civilized countries the product must be exactly as described.. (when the private seller says fully functional is has to be fully functional or he is forced to take it back and give you a full refund)

yes you can fix it, look at how to blind flash a graphics card if you do not have a second card to boot with. didn't see the end of your post yes you can flash with the other card in but make sure to flash the correct card. the one with the borked bios may not show up,but u can force a flash to the card if you know the adapter number.

The riser may be the issue.
What does the Motherboard Manual say the mini PCI-e slot is used for?
If you have a full sized slot, use that.

Mining cards are fine if looked after. Plus they sell for cheaper.

If you ok to cover shipping, I'll flash it back for you. Also if you flashed it successfully and assuming you flashed the wrong bios try one of the other outputs.

Brother that sounds great I got a riser card because I can only have one graphics card in at a time on my motherboard I'm having issues with it because it's not recognizing the GPU the fans are turning on the riser card but nothing in device management.

I'm willing to take you up on your offer let me know how you want to go about this.

I'm having trouble here with my riser 1X to 16x as it is not showing up on the device management in fact if I try to turn on the computer it won't boot properly and get stuck. I'm just trying to use it for gaming only.

The 99% of those performing mining, they care less of looking after of anything.
The home user will look after to protect hes investment (Single computer ) , but a large percentage this is capable to also destroy the card just under the attempt to replace the thermal grease.

Servicing of electronics this is a job for experts with years of experiences and expensive tools.
The best advice for a person with out a rich dad , this is getting quality VGA under warranty and never touch a thing over it.

Do not play games with me .... you will pay them man so him to repair the card for you.
Or send it for factory repair if you agree with the cost.

Well, there are benefits. Cheaper for a start. People wanting to try new hardware often that don't have big budget. I've never owned a new GPU in my life. I think for 10 years, I've had one bad card and it was in the beginning. May be I misinterpret some of your posts, because it looks like you use Google translate, I am sorry if that's the case. People are trying new things with their hardware, some fail, some don't. They need help, that's why they are here.

i havent gpu flashed in years, but i wouldnt use any riser, direct pcie slot only

that means the options are blind flashing (memorizing the exact keyboard presses & waiting the specific periods of time), using a cheap APU with onboard graphics if this isnt an AM3 mobo, or flashing on a friend's computer that has two slots (dont accidentally flash their card)

the bios has to support the memory chips on your card, always look at the details/internals section:

one more potential thing that most people might not consider, it's probably not your issue, but just in case this gives someone an idea or reminder in the future: if the mobo is set to uefi-only boot with legacy/csm disabled & the gpu bios lacks uefi support, it might not be able to boot

I am in need for a lecture of how we can manipulate a modern VGA so to be more productive for mining, by destroying original BIOS and flashing generic home made BIOS, so we to have better control at over all power usage of the mining box ?
This is why they do destroy factory BIOS.

Mining fellows they are not experts to electronics engineer class, they are copying of what others do from You-tube.
The OP it might not be able to find a reasonable solution, at least lets save others from falling in a similar trap.

I am electronics repairs professional, I have the mindset of a doctor that loves to heal electronics and offer to them a second life, but mining cards they are victims of people that care only about making money and no other ethics laws are present.

You are welcome getting a used mining card if you are new to mining your self, regular people and gamers they should never touch them.

Blind flashing this is possible if you have a second identical card, with DOS based flash you may prepare the system for Bios update, then you pull the working card and add the non recognizable one and you press ENTER.
And then you Pray to God for 20 minutes, after that you do try to reboot.
