Hey guys, new here.

Today I bought a new 5600x and bricked it instantly. It partially posts, I can see the UEFI bios and can actually get all the way to the windows login screen but at that point, the entire screen goes crazy.

So I currently am booted into DOS from a USB. The USB contains the latest dos version of amdflash(Downloaded from this site) and what I expect to be, the original vbios(I didn't make a backup, stupid): https://www.techpowerup.com/vgabios/222591/222591

Since I flashed the incorrect vbios's, the SSID's don't match up which means the tool, amdflash is preventing me from flashing.

I am using the following command...

amdflash.exe -p 0 VBIOSFILE -fp

This gives me an SSID mismatch error.

Not too sure where to go from here. Appreciate all help.

Solved using the UEFI version of amdflash! Can download here: https://www.mediafire.com/file/2a2op0vkbrh2iru/amdvbflash_uefi.zip/file
Probably can find the UEFI amdflash from many other places too.

The key to the UEFI USB is to show the hidden files! There is a hidden EFI folder in the zip folder that windows will not show you immediately, if you do not copy this folder onto your bootable usb drive, it will not boot!
