Brink, is it any good?

So i logged into Steam today and the news window showed Brink: Complete Package for $6.25, and am wondering if the games is 1/2 decent. Looked up some reviews, but would prefer user experiences. Like how is it, say compared to something like Homefront? was it worth the $6 i spent?

DON'T BUY IT !

Another unfinished game, I bought it a couple of months ago, kept playing it for a few hours, I was like "why everyone is soooooo newbie ???" then I realized that I was actually playing with bots, extremely bad bots that is. The MP is virtually dead.

Save your money.

I have not tried the game, nor am I interested in it, but from what I can see on Steam, the game is free-to-play this weekend, so why not give it a try and see for yourself is it worth your money?

I agree with the replies above me, the game needs lots of polishing because it was a rushed release.
Can't say if they refined it because I bought and played it on the days close to the release, almost one month I'd say.
The game is funny, the mechanic are awesome but it feels rushed, really

The potential to deliver is there but they failed on some aspects and the playerbase left so you'd be playing against bots.

I played it for quite a while. It's pretty fun and worth the price at <$10 but only if you like playing online/coop. The game is quite a challenge but there aren't many maps.

Just a word of advice for the future...it makes more sense to ask these types of things before you actually make the purchase.

Seriously, play it yourself and see what you think. Steam had a free weekend a while back and I tried it out then: I didn't like it at all, the feel just didn't do anything for me. Must have played no more than 15 minutes tops.

As you've already got it, just play it and see what you think, I'm curious to know.

Just seen that Steam have another Brink free weekend, for anyone that wants to try it.

im asking cause regardless of owning it or not, i wanted to see what others think. If its garbage then i wont bother playing it, it was just a way to spend the chump change on my Mastercard gift card
