OK i still have my P3 system, in this situation it has a GF4ti4200 in which needs a new vga HSF.

What can I get that's cheap but better than a Tt blue orb that is in the process of dying?

Iceberq 4 Pro? Kingwin heat pipe?

Edit: Also, I need some insight on this, I haven't been able to get a direct answer.

Calling any ATI SB450 chipset users, Any of you run Nvidia PCI-e graphics cards with this particicular chipset? If so, have any compatibility issues?

I've used an Iceberq 4 (non pro version) on an x700 pro and it has worked great. Dropped temps from 50-35 idle and never hits 50 again on load.

So if you want to scrimp a few more bucks over the zalman I'm sure the pro version would work great too.

ATi cards will work with any mobo chipset, and the same goes for nvidia cards ;) of course if you want to run SLi or Crossfire, then you will need a mobo that can specifically do that.

Thank you very much on this you have been a big help KetXXX.

It is my first PCI-e enabled chipset and I knew about the crossfire/sli thing, but wasnt too sure if it applied to single video card systems.

So, Thank you everyone with the support you have provided.

Time to go pickup that video card I want ...... Cheap Geforce 6200 Vanilla to hold me over til the new ATI .... :)
