Guys,
I intend to build a system for a friend who will use it solely for his music production(Pro Tools).
Since memory would be a major player, I intend to go for an X58 setup which provides more bandwidth due to the triple channel feature.
My current choice is
CPU: Corei7 950
MB: Gigabyte X58 UD3R
RAM: 6Gigs Corsair Dominator
GPU: Zotac Nvidia GTS450
PSU: Corsair 650W
Do u guys think Sandy Bridge architecture is a better bet though it has the dual channel memory feature?
If so...I would appreciate your suggestions on rig components.
Thnx,
Shiv
