Ok so far I know I want Blue neon fans. Haven't found the right Mid tower case yet. Here's 2 items I have found so far. Not sure why Ebay is cheaper than say Newegg.

NEW 750W Gaming 140MM Blue LED Fan Guard Grill Silent ATX Power Supply PSU 12V...$37.49...Would've preferred a Dual Blue Led Fan for this.

USB Red/Pink/Blue LED Backlit Gaming...$30.99....Gaming mouse and Keyboard $30.99.

In doing some research they say the case should be decided on last. True?

Also I like the Radeon HIS video cards as I've had good luck with my 1st one.
http://www.newegg.com/Desktop-Graphics-Cards/BrandSubCat/ID-2058-48.

What should I be looking at when it comes to Vid cards from a practical standpoint. The more memory the better? Quietness obviously. ddr???The higher the better.

Still looking for a Cool case to match all this up with. Idea, Pics please. Thanks all.

That PSU is crap and choosing a PSU by the color of the fan is the worst possible criteria :D What is your budget for the build?

Going just by color is probably the
DUMBEST
thing to do.

Go by quality, then narrow down by color.

I coulndn't find that case in stock but here is a build for 1k. Of course you can change the case to something that you like and if you dont plan to overclock you can get a locked i5 and the stock cooler and get the 290x instead of the 290

He wants Blue otherwise I would go for the Asrock Z97 Fatality Killer but the extreme 3 or 4 could be an alternative

NEVER BUY PARTS OFF EBAY,THIS IS ASKING FOR TROUBLE
I'd like to say that not all parts on eBay are rubbish, just avoid cheap Chinese parts.
Stick to known brands and sellers with good ratings, using Paypal only makes any purchases safer too as claiming money back is easier if the goods don't turn up or are wrong.

Ok I'm very appreciative on your breakdown which begs me to keep asking and tinkering with what I want and pricing. I'd rather go with an AMD chip if at all possible. Have had good luck with them. Also I had come up with this Vid Card as compared to yours and whas wondering the major difference. Obviously the price.....

Do you mean AMD CPU or GPU? If you mean CPU then with that budget honestly there is no point to go with AMD. The difference between the 260X and 290 is that the 290 is about 2.4 times faster at 1080p

Finally buy a case you like, the one there is just an example :)

Yeah, I don't know about that PSU, but I doubt it's good.

I have some things in the FS forum that may help you out if you want a cheap but decent PSU. Honestly though, I'm with OneMoar, don't go to ebay for parts (unless new sealed or something and reputable brand, even then it's iffy). Just asking for trouble half the time if not most of the time.

Ebay can be friend or fo. If I buy from there I make sure the seller's listing states there is some sort of warranty on it.

I've bought there and been both burned and gotten great things, but overall I don't advise it unless you can't get the parts elsewhere. Maybe I've just had bad luck, but a few transactions with me went pretty bad when trying to aquire an old Socket 1366 board. One of the ones shipped to me "new" for example had a nasty slice through one layer of the PCB traces, eliminating one of the PCIe channels from working. It was hard to get my money back because he had shipped me a board that KINDA worked and I had to go through all that dispute garbage.

I'm biased, I'll admit, but overall I avoid it.

As others have stated you are going about building the wrong way. start by pricing out quality parts and then choose color. Just by your parts list I can tell you need to do some serious homework or be riddled by constant problems/broken hardware that you don't have the expertise to fix.

Yeah, I don't know about that PSU, but I doubt it's good.

I found a review for OP. Page 4, second paragraph has internal analysis info, "The XTR-650 is manufactured by Seasonic, like all other XTR units."

http://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/XFX/XTR650/4.html

Seems to be a seasonic rebadge of their G/S12G series, so to OP, that psu is good quality :)

I think rtb was talking about the ebay psu in the original post and you are talking a about the psu in my build. Some people should read more than just the first post :p as this was established for the Op and now he is looking into a build for 1000$

Ok here's my case. Do you have any other options via PcPartPicker lists to put in this case?

http://www.nzxt.com/product/detail/110-lexa-s-case.html

I wrote before I am aware that you like this case but I was unable to find it in stock. Maybe contact nzxt directly

Nah, was talking about the xfx psu. I've had mixed luck with their GPUs but if it's a seasonic inside it's fine I am sure.

I try to read... Still not immune to mistakes on occasion but yeah. ;)

I've had mixed luck with their GPUs

They frequently don't put any form of cooling over one set of VRMs (Typically VRM2). The common issues with XFX GPUs is the VRM throttling due to wildly hot (128 degrees +) temperatures, and also the fact they don't let you remove the cooler, otherwise it voids the warranty.

All their PSUs however are Sea Sonic made, so they always get a recommendation from me.
