Sounds good Conall. Have you played any games on your WD HD? & you said that it booted up in a couple of seconds? Could I maybe ask you to be more specific, please, with sugar on top? Also, if you have played games on your new computer, how are the graphics on the 8800GT?

Yes, I've played a few games on it.
Black & White 2, Empire Earth 2, Oblivion, Far Cry, and The Sims 2.
I've been able to max all of them at 800x600 and have experienced no lag at all.
Low resolution, I know, but I have no need to increase it any further.

When I said it booted up quickly, I meant that within about 20 seconds after pressing the power button windows is loaded and I'm able to start using it.
Took about 5 minutes to do the same on my old Pavilion.

Also, it doesn't look like I have to worry about the video card overheating.
Played Oblivion for a few hours the other night, and it never made it to 50c.
