Bulldozer FX-4100 or Phenom II x4 955 Oced??

Hi guys:

So that is my question, what you guys think? Would it be worth to upgrade to a FX-4100 that from what I've read has 4 cores, 8mb l3 cache from a recently bought Phenom II x4 955??

Taking all things into consideration, that is, buying a new mobo and CPU. I mean would it be worth it? Would the FX-4100 be that much faster from the Phenom II x4 955?

I have a Phenom II x4 955 BE C3 by the way, so I would consider Ocing the hell out of it.

Welcome to TPU. There is no information on the performance of Bulldozer. So, you will have to wait until early September like the rest of us to find out. In the mean time overclock your current CPU, it's still a very servicable chip. If you need any help with it, post your complete system specifications and we can get working on it.

Jeesh thanks! Thanks for your feedback, I plan to overclock later on the year when I get my hands on an afterstock cooler fan.

I've heard that the collermaster Hyper 212 is a great cooler fan?
