I'm buying a Wi for my daughters, ages 10 and 7. I need some advice on a few games that would be appropriate, considering their age. All suggestions greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I have PS2, PS3, 360, and Wii. 4 kids, 8, 6, 4, and 2. They only play the PS2, by thier own choice. I don't know why...

So I'm all ears to suggestions too...my kids play all sorts of PS2 games, but haven't touched the Wii since the summer.

MAKE SURE TO GET RECHARGABLE BATTERY PACKS FOR THE REMOTES!!!

My daughter is 9 and really enjoys Mario Kart and Cooking Mama. She also seems to get a kick out of Wii Sports but mainly when it comes to the Tennis and Boxing.

I forgot about Mario Kart. My oldest loves racing in the Coconut mall. Anyway kenkickr is right. The best games for that age come with the Wii. Just make sure they use the wrist straps!!!!

I would recommend Warioware Smoothmoves.

Simple and straightforward, very very physical game..involves lots of swinging of arms, jumping up and down, and making a fool of yourself.

Can be enjoyed by both kids and adults at parties etc.

+1 for the mario cart, of the 2 kids here, the ten year old loves the mario cart. One thing though, if you let them play online there are some red flags. For example, I was just playing with them the other day online and there was someone named nigg@ guy and KKK Member, so yea you know where I'm going with this.

Got an 8 yr old son, no daughter. He loves the Lego series of Batman and Indiana Jones. They might like Spore as well, or Sims.

What do they like for PC games - or other consoles?
