    First.

Sorry for the bad pictures. Using my cell phone.

Second what else can i do? the dvd drive is killing me on the sata cable. i have one thats right angle but i dont know where to route the cable.

The 24pin is being sleeved curtsy of MKmods

the fans are sleeved by me then hols are created by me etc.

    What else can i do?

    P.s

Its a competition on H that i can do better cable management on the CM-690 than those guys

    not bad ;)

Looks like you covered about everything you could.

The only thing I would add is some heat shrink around the 24pin nearest to the plug.

From what I can see it is already loomed, but adding some more up top would help clean that up.

Other than that I would be pretty happy with it. I didnt see any HD's (am I missing it, or is it not in there?)

Hard drive isn't in it yet. 24 pin is not a factor as its getting sleeved.

My main thing is the sata cable. idk where its going.

I'm gonna have to agree after looking at his thread.

Yikes that some great PC building.

I have to many components to hide everything that well... fans everywhere!

Heres a link to my rig as of last month.. It currently has 2 GTX280's in it for Crunching:D

Compared to your cable management mine sucks, but it gets the wires out of the way for the fans to do their jobs!

freaksavior I dont know what to tell you. Can you maybe cut a small hole on the side of the 5.25bay drives and run the sata cable through there so that when you look at it from the side you cant see the cable?

How hardcore do you want to get? You could solder the 24-pin wires to the back of the board, same with the cpu power, USB/Firewire pins for the front panel, etc. I think it looks good, not as insane clean as slade's, but his were almost OC they were so clean...of course soldering to the back of the board is pretty much obsessive compulsive in my book.

    Nice job so far!

I got a nice camera, was just feeling lazy and didn't want to get it out.

Soldering is a bit much. That i wont do.

The only cable i have left to put in is the SATA cable.

Also when i plug in my PCI-E cable to the GPU the machine beeps on me. it does have 2 capaciters on the pci-e cable and its plugged in on the psu first (with capacitors closest to psu) could that be why?

FS, now all you need is a nice sleeve job on the PSU 24 pin :toast: maybe not individually sleeved, but as a whole.
