Major problem here. my pal has the following problem , i bought the game and its workin fine for me =D
he bought this yesterday, and basically his DVD isn't reading, or even recognising that the DVD is in the drive.
Here is what he has done to fix it so far.
- he has updated the drivers on my DVD using Windows Update.
- he has updated the Firmware on it incase it is a regioning problem.
- he knows that it ISN'T the DVD because we tred it on a friends computer and it runs fine.
his DVD-ROM drive can run all other video and Games DVD's.
The strange thing is, his DVD-ROM works, and is seen in the "My Computer" directory, but it isn't showing up in my Device Manager, or when I try to re-add the hardware. the devise manager recognises the drive as a cd rom. when its a dvd writer :s
any ideas why it wouldnt be working ?
any help would be fantastic guys
