I picked up Call Of Juarez Gunslinger on sale at the last Steam sale. This game is Awesome! I bought the 1st COJ as an import back at the launch of the DX11 days. And COJ BIB at its launch, and all three have not disappointed. Every time I see the water in the COJ games, I swear these guys have water effects nailed. The mega waves in BF4 Parcel Storm look great, but on a different level, and not as...polished IMO. The COJ North American/Wild West environments are a treat to the eyes. Each title getting better then the last. I didn't get COJ The Cartel but will get it after finishing Gunslinger. I really cant say enough about the "feel" of the COJ games. Maybe its because I live in Northern California and the landscape resembles this part of the world. Whatever it is, I am a big Call Of Juarez fan.

If you a shooter fan you should give Call Of Juarez Gunslinger a look see. The eye candy and story line are top shelf, really. Nothing else quite like it.

I also loved it, very linear, but highly story driven, and I thought the story was an excellent tale to tell. Gives you a little choice in terms of your playstyle which is nice, but some good old fashioned cowboy arcade shooter fun!

I love it when the story gets interupted and you have to play part of a level again but from a different perspective.

Agree on the old west versions of the game, but you'll likely be disappointed by The Cartel. It's the only one that didn't do the series justice.
