Can a HD 6950 Handle 2560x1080

i'm thinking of upgrading my home theater tv to this which i also use for my gaming needs. will a HD 6950 be able to handle games at that high res.

I do believe so. My old 6950 handled more demanding then that, at 2560 x 1440. Don't expect to max out PC games or nothing though.

That's a nice tv and res for some awesome movie watching, but won't that really affect your fov while playing? Tha'ts really some ultra widescreen

I would love to try that TV, looks awesome for gaming plus 120hz hopefully in non 3d mode. I might have to look into one of those, might be a little tough for a 6950 depending on the game.

Ya mainly Movies can be handled- Games are more demanding for the Frame Production
